MERSEYSIDE FOR ROMANIA

At this time of year our church is pledged to collect £500 to send to Father Constantin Marioara to maintain his church feeding scheme.  We usually raise the sum easily and it is a real lifeline for his parishioners.  If you wish to donate cash please put your contribution in an envelope with your name on – my memory is getting worse!

I can also collect bedding, clothing and shoes for all ages, toiletries, pots and pans as well as toys which Merseyside for Romania will send out in the early summer. Also welcome would be goods which Jean Hickson can sell to raise money for transport.  Please either bring items to church or to 29 Springfield Avenue, or phone if you need me to collect them.

Thank you to everyone in advance, your generosity is amazing.

OWN ARRANGEMENTS

Do you have a missionary society or relief agency you support?  Would you like the church to know more about it?  Many of these have material on their websites that we could use in an own arrangement services.  If you would like to support both the organisation and the worship of this fellowship in this way, then the Worship Development Group will help you put a service together.  Don’t worry if you don’t want to stand at the front – we can help with that as well.  Please see Graham Gladden or another member of the Worship Development Group if you are interested.  If would be great to have one of these each quarter.

CHURCH HEATING

Whilst there is no heating in the Church morning services will continue to be held in the Church Hall and evening services will be held in the foyer.  Help with putting the chairs away at the end of the morning service and setting up the foyer for the evening service would be much appreciated.

EASTER FLOWERS

There will be a basket in the foyer today and the next two Sundays for anyone who wishes to give towards the flowers at Easter.
