Founded in 1972 the aim of the Wednesday Room is to reach out the hand of friendship to all members of our local community, and in particular, to those who are housebound, or have mobility difficulties. We are lucky to have a dedicated team of some 30 helpers
 
The formula is simple; we provide coffee, scones and friendship to our visitors – Church and non-Church members alike - and for those who need it, transport to and from their homes can be provided.

We meet on Wednesdays, fortnightly, from late September to June, 10.30am to 12 noon.
