Our church runs a lively Toddlers group for 0 to 3 year-olds, on term-time Tuesdays from 10.00am to 11.30am  (Children must be accompanied by an adult, usually a parent or grandparent.)  Our large hall is filled with toys – trampoline, slide, Wendy-house, garage, scoot-alongs, pull-alongs, rocking toys – there is a soft toy corner for babies, an educational table with jigsaws, stacking rings, beakers, and June runs a craft corner with a different craft each week – moulding dough, painting, crayoning, card-making...  At 11 o’clock, everything is cleared away, and after drinks and biscuits for both adults and children, we have a sing-song with popular action songs, counting rhymes and lots of clapping.  The children join in with great enthusiasm.  The charge for all this bounty is currently a modest £1.50 a session – consequently the sessions are very popular.
